About The Kingdom Canine Center in Lyndonville, VT

Deanna started working with dogs in 2000. She volunteered at a kennel in Duram, NH and after a few months was hired on to learn the art of grooming,  and take care of the boarding and daycare dogs. After a year and half, she opened her own facility in Dover, NH offering grooming, dog daycare and training/agility.  A little black dog in Dover was one the first in the area to offer "free roaming" or cage free dog daycare. Dogs truly got to play, and rest whenever they wanted.  Several more facilities opened up with the same concept after hers took off. Watching 15-20 dogs interact for 5 years is an incredible experience.  It has helped her learn how to read dog behavior so well, which helps with all aspects of the business. Deanna Moved to Vermont in 2005 and worked at a veterinarian for 2 1/2 years before missing being on her own. She decided to open a grooming shop in downtown Lyndonville, VT. Then in 2013 Deanna Purchased the new location on Lynburke Rd in Lyndonville, VT and added dog boarding, and a beautiful agility field.

Deanna Baker

My name is Deanna Baker and I have been grooming for over 13 years. I am still very passionate about my career. My grooming method is gentle and I take pride in how detailed I am, presenting a beautifully groomed pet.
I currently have 4 pets. Sori (the one to my right and the face of KCC) you will often see her behind the counter or roaming around the shop. Isabel (the one in my lap, my agility star) she loves people but she gets a bit grumpy toward other dogs, but we still love her. :) Todd, a long haired orange cat who was rescued from a dumpster and I nurtured back to health. Henry, an orange tabby who I fostered and just couldn't let go. And last but not least my Monkey, a Calico color, she was also a foster cat who reminded me, in personality, of a very special cat I had who passed.

"Todd" passed away October 19, 2015 at age 5 due to several health issues. It has been very difficult. People tell me he was lucky to have me, but I believe I was the lucky one!

Brittany Dewitt

I am Brittany Dewitt. I have been working with animals since I was young. I worked on a farm and in a veterinary office during high school. For 9 years I worked at a boarding and grooming facility before joining Kingdom Canine Center.
I was fortunate to learn so much at my previous job and take my knowledge to KCC.
I volunteered at a humane society for a year and decided to further my education by becoming certified in dog body language and behavior. Along with being a kennel tech. I am also learning more about grooming.
I have a dog "Shay" who I get to bring to work with me everyday! She is a rescued boxer mix who is about 7 yrs old now. She loves to play with small dogs and she is sometimes the alarm system for when someone is here :)

KIngdom Canine Center is also proud to introduce Heidi Giampietro, whom excels at grooming!
Emmy Guerra our awesome Daycare/Kennel Tech Supervisor, and Tracy Keirnan,  master of bathing!  And last but no least Michele Bachand who lets the dogs out at night!
KCC has an excellent tenant who lives on the property and is great with the dogs.  This allows for your pet to never be alone at night!
